New to konnected? Start with a hello, a question, or something you discovered in your neighborhood.
What is konnected?
A community for people building a life in Korea. Ask everyday questions, share your experience, and make a small connection. Community is the home page; jobs and rental examples have their own tabs.
What do I need to join a conversation?
Sign in with ChatGPT and choose a display name. Work details and employer sharing are optional. Do not include your phone number, exact home address, passport, or residence-card details in public posts.
How do I write a useful question?
Choose Question and a life topic, then add a clear title and your situation. A city or neighborhood, what you have already tried, and the help you need make it easier for someone to answer.
How do experiences and meetups work?
Choose Experience to share something you learned, including when and where it happened. For a Meetup, add the date and time in Korea (UTC+9), a public meeting point, languages, and any cost. A meetup post does not create a booking or collect a payment.
What if I lose my connection while saving?
Keep your text on screen. The service checks whether a post or comment was saved when a response is lost. If the result is still unclear, check My conversations or send the same content again. Repeating the same pending request does not create another post, comment, or notification.
Where is my unfinished post?
Post drafts stay in the same browser and can be restored within 30 days. They are not synced to other devices. You can clear a draft in the editor. Account deletion clears that account’s drafts and pending request identifiers in this browser; clear other devices separately.
Where should jobs and housing offers go?
Use Part-time Jobs for genuine hiring listings. New and edited jobs need review. Community conversations can ask about work or neighborhoods. Rentals currently shows labeled fictional examples; live property registration, reservations, deposits, and rental contracts are unavailable.
What can I do when something feels wrong?
Use Report on a post, comment, or job and explain the issue without adding private documents. You can block a member from their conversation. Report outcomes appear in your in-app notifications. The public operator contact is still being finalized during this private beta.
